Music and Meaning in the Movies

Alan Bell will present a six-week series on the influence of music in movies.  Music doesn’t just accompany a movie.  It frequently defines how we interpret the actual meaning of a scene, a character’s inner thoughts, reminds us of past events, and so on.  We’ll also celebrate some of the great film composers of the classic movie era.

Mondays:  September 30 through November 4
