Our Whole Lives (OWL) is the age-appropriate sexuality education curriculum developed by the Unitarian Universalist Association and the United Church of Christ. This fee-based program promotes sexual health based on guidelines of the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States.
2007-2008 OWL Curriculum
- Sexuality and Relationship Awareness Training for Middle Schoolers (4th-6th Grade)
- Students in the 4th and 5th grades participate in a special program designed just for people their age. During the eight total hours of learning, students learn to respect themselves and one another, to maintain personal safety and to talk with an appropriate adult about their questions and concerns.
- Sexuality Awareness Training for Junior High (7th-9th Grade)
- Our Whole Lives for Junior High (7th-9th Grade) is a comprehensive 22-session, age-appropriate sexuality education program. We may combine sessions into a couple of evening fun-study events, to make the best use of time and families’ schedules.
